The First Time We Met

I met Phil about 2003 or 2004. I was a nurse working with a pulmonologist in Griffin, Ga. Phil was having respiratory problems off and on. Phil was very pleasant and friendly. After much testing, Phil was presented with a diagnosis of C.O.P.D.. A "chronic obstructive pulmonary disease". At the next doctor's visit, I think, I met Phil's wife, Carolyn. And who would have thought that several years later, maybe, 4 or 5, I met and started work with Carolyn. We had a great friendship that still exists I only saw Phil a couple of times after Carolyn and I started working together, but I kept up with his long health battle. Lost a good friend, but remain a dear friend of Carolyn. Sorry for her and family's loss.
