Obituary for Tommy Smith

Tommy Smith, age 83 of Baxter, Tennessee passed from this life Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He was born Saturday, January 21, 1933 in Pleasant Shade, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Virgil and Lena (Carver) Smith.

He was a loving husband of 35 years to Rosie Fields Smith .

He is survived by his Wife:
Rosie Fields Smith

3 Daughters and 2 Daughters-In-Law:
Wanda and Gary Graves
Shelia Smith
Tammy and Jimmy Pedigo

1 Stepson and spouse:
Floyd "Cotton" and Wife Melinda Simpson

1 Sister: Kat (Leman) Clark

1 Brother: Billy Joe Smith

11 Grandchildren

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: 1 Sister, Wyndoleen Hackett, 2 Stepdaughters, Wanda Ragland and Betty Simpson, and 1 Stepson Danny Simpson.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Thursday January 19, 2017 at Patterson Cemetery in Macon County.

The family will receive friends at Crest Lawn Funeral Home Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
