Roger V. Rogers, 75, of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life Monday, November 21, 2016 at his home.
Roger was born May 25, 1941 in West Monroe, Lousiana to the late Clotille Irene (Rogers) Rogers and to the late Ezra Rogers.
Roger was a retired United States Navy Boatswain Mate for twenty years. He was involved with the Willow Avenue Church of Christ Benevolence program and with the Willow Meals program for many years and would help out in other areas when needed. Roger loved fishing, hunting, and anything outdoors.

2 Daughters: Carol and Orlando Rodriguez of Hampton, Virginia
Tracy and John Perry of Cookeville, Tennessee
3 Sons: Roger Dean and JoAnn Rogers of Cortez, Colorado
Jody Collier of Cookeville, Tennessee
Kevin Collier of Ruckersville, Virginia
10 Grandchildren
7 Great-Grandchildren

Roger was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 23, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
Funeral Services for Roger V. Rogers will be held Friday, November 25, 2016 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Full Military Honors.
Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
